Northern Circuit Route

Northern Circuit Route [10] Days

Northern Circuit is Kilimanjaro’s newest route. It is the longest way to Uhuru Peak and thus, less attended. The route approaches Kilimanjaro from the west, beginning at the rainforest on the western slope of Shira Plateau, passing through the northern part of the Kilimanjaro massif, and ending up on the eastern slope. Northern Circuit is also the only route that makes an arc of 270°, that allows you to see the Kibo Volcano from different perspectives and admire other beautiful sceneries when you traverse the mountain. That is one of the reasons why climbing Kilimanjaro on the Northern Circuit Route is highly popular among photographers. Moreover, since the expedition takes 8 days, you are able to get a proper acclimatization in order to summit Uhuru Peak in good health.
